Stampin' Up!® By the Bay Designer Series Paper and Seaside Bay Stamp Set

I love the By the Bay Designer Series Paper!

This Designer Series Paper is retiring May 1st. The coordinating stamps and dies: Seaside Bay Stamp Set and the Seaside Bay Dies will carry over to the new catalog. If you have been on the fence about getting this DSP,  don't wait!  It is on the Last Chance/Clearance Rack at Stampin' Up!® It will be available until May 1st or while supplies last.  

I CASE'd Karen Titus' card design. She makes wonderful cards! You can find her on YouTube. I did change the card up a little bit. I did not adhere the strips to a layer. I adhered them directly to the card base.  The card base is Thick Basic White and I used a Stampin' Up!® Blending Brush with Balmy Blue ink to brush the card front. I feel it gives it a little softer look. I really like how it turned out.  This is a very easy card to make.

Card Measurements

The Card Base:  Thick Basic White cut at 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

Designer Series Paper:  Cut three different strips at 1 1/2 x 3 3/4

Label: Basic White and Night of Navy Cardstock.  You can use whatever you would like for the label.  I cut the Basic White at about 2 x 3 3/8, and the Night of Navy I  did die cut it with The Deckled Rectangle Dies. That piece measures about 2 1/4 x 3 1/2. 

Stamp Set:  Seaside Bay Stamp Set

Embellishments:  Flat Adhesive Pearls, ribbon (the one I used is not available)

Stampin' Pads: Balmy Blue, Night of Navy, and Gray Granite

Blending Brush: Use the blending brush to brush the white card front with the balmy blue ink. This will soften the card front and pick up the colors in the DSP.
