Using Favored Flowers Designer Series Paper

I like making this Diagonal Fun Fold. It really is an easy and quick card to make. Give it a try. You will love it!😊
The Measurements
The Base: I used an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock. Score at 5 1/2" on the long side, then turn and score again at 4 1/4" on the short side. Turn the paper corner to corner and cut it diagonally. The paper is a bit longer than the SU trimmer, so you will need to snip the last end with your scissors as the scoring blade will not go all the way to one corner of the paper. This cut will give you two pieces so you can make two cards!
The Front of the Card: I used two pieces of the DSP from Favored Flowers. Cut at 5 1/4" x 4". Stack the two pieces and line them on the trimmer diagonally, corner to corner, and cut in half. Be mindful of the direction of the pattern on the DSP (How do you want it to lay on the front of the card. What direction should the pattern be?). Once cut, you will have four pieces to make two cards.
The Inside: I used the Scalloped Contours Dies. I also stamped the flower in the corner using the Two-Toned Flora Stamp Set. The "Happy Birthday" is from the Go To Greetings Stamp Set.
Decorate the front as you wish. I fussy cut the flowers from the DSP to add to the front. I also decorated the envelope with a piece of the Favored Flowers DSP.
Have fun with this diagonal fold! Use what you have, or order the products below.
